This Mardi Gras Benefit raises urgently needed funds to assist families and individuals in an emergency. Join us on February 6, at 6PM at CR Sparks, Bedford. VALENTINE’S DAY BAKE SALE!

Our Women’s Society sponsors a bake sale on Saturday, Feb 13th and Sunday, Feb 14th after the masses at OLF to benefit Second Beginnings in Claremont.  This organization assists women in crises who have young children.

MEN’S CLUB

The Men’s Club will meet on February 9 in the lower church hall at 7pm.  New London Police Chief David Seastrand will join us to speak about how his Department works with state and federal agencies on a range of issues including drug enforcement, homeland security and emergency management related to extreme weather and other events.

 

WOMEN’S SOCIETY

Please join us for our monthly meeting on Thursday February 11th at Noon for a delicious soup and dessert lunch.  Rosemary Silverberg will instruct us on weight exercises.

Saturday, February 20th from 5-7pm at Immaculate Conception Church!  $6.00 for Adults - $3.00 ages 6-12 and 5 and under free!!  Loretta and Bill will be looking for help in the following ways - -  Friday, the 19th at 6pm to help make meatballs, salad and garlic bread.  Saturday night 1 hour shifts from 5:00-6:00 and 6:00-7:00 to help serve and from 7:00 till? to help clean up, also at least 12 people willing to bake for the supper.  If you can help in any of the above areas,  please call Loretta at 735-5790.

 
FREE INCOME TAX ASSISTANCE

Beginning Feb. 1st through April 15, AARP & the IRS are sponsoring free income tax preparation, with e-filing, for middle and low income taxpayers and the elderly.  The volunteers are available at Lake Sunapee Bank’s two locations.  For an appointment call Lake Sunapee Bank, New London 526-2535 or Andover 735-5923.
