RUMMAGE SALE THANK YOU

Priscilla and Loretta want to thank all those who helped them raise almost $1,900.  Those who donated items for the sale, who sorted with them, who baked, who worked the day of and all who shopped for bargains.  See you in September!

 

CHRISTIAN FORMATION

Grades 1-5  Last session is Jun 1st 9-10:15am

Youth Ministry - Grades 6 - HS:

May 4 from 6 – 8 p.m.

May 18 We are renting the OCIC facility. (old middle school) so that our young people can play badminton, volleyball or basketball with the youth groups from area churches.  Drop off at 6pm and pick up at 8pm at the OCIC.  Dinner is not included.

May 31st   Battle of the Bands @ LaSalette 12-6pm

Encourage your young adult to participate in this exciting event for teens, sponsored by our deanery.  The Youth Ministry team can provide transportation.  Parents are welcomed.  There will be a keynote speaker and at least 8 Catholic bands.  The cost is $10 per person.  Food & drink for sale.  Bring your own chair and bug spray!

 

MEN’S CLUB MEETING

“It’s The Economy, Stupid” Tony Quinn will be the featured speaker at the Men’s Club monthly meeting on Tuesday, May 13th at 7PM in our parish hall.  Tony Quinn is a Business-Economics professor at Colby-Sawyer and will enlighten the Club on the economy.  Come!  Join your fellow members.  Of course refreshments will be served.

 

CARE NET CRISIS

The Mount Royal Academy Student Council is organizing a clothes drive to benefit Care Net Crisis Pregnancy Center in Claremont, New Hampshire.  New or lightly used baby and maternity clothes are needed.  If you can donate any of these items, please contact Hannah Nelson 763-4590 prior to May 16th

 

FIRST EUCHARIST CEROMONY

Children from our parish receive Communion for the first time on Sunday, May 18th at the 8:30 mass in Immaculate Conception Church and the 10:30 mass at Our Lady of Fatima Church.  “I am the bread of life…whoever eats this bread will live forever.  Jn 6:35-58

 

CATHOLIC CHARITIES

NHCC needs your support to continue to make miracles happen for those who are struggling in our state.  Please give as much as you can so that when a person suffering finally finds the strength to reach out for help – it’s there.  Our parish goal is $63,000.

EXPERTS NEEDED

The Building and Grounds Committee is looking for individuals who could spare an hour or two as needed to give advice to them concerning roofing, siding, plumbing, furnace repair (replacement), electrical, painting, etc.  This committee would basically be one of verification of work needed and when it should be done.  If willing to assist call Tom Ginter 526-7606, Don Gallo 526-7737 or Bill Bates 735-5790 or contact deetag60@aol.com.  You could also talk to Tom Guterl, Alan Birk or Walt Kangas.
