Propagation of the Faith

 

The Men’s Club will meet on Tuesday, Oct. 13, in the church hall at 7pm.  David Thibault, headmaster of Mount Royal Academy will be the speaker.  David was one of the original teachers at the school in 1993 and returned as headmaster for the 2008-2009 school year.  He’ll bring us up to date on Mount Royal particularly but in the broader context of Catholic education as a whole.  Please come and bring a new potential member.  Refreshments will be served.  See you there.

 

REPLENISH THE PANTRY!

The Kearsarge/Lake Sunapee Community Food Pantry is undertaking a food drive in October.  Please bring in food items and leave them in the baskets at the back of the churches.  The following are high demand items to consider bringing in the next few weeks:  Oct. 10/11:  Baked Beans & Canned Veggies (Except for green beans & corn).  Oct. 17/18:  Paper Products (e.g. Paper Towels, Facial Tissues, Disposable Diapers, etc.).  Oct. 24/25:  Cereal.  Oct. 31/Nov 1:  Chili & Stews.  Demand remains high and your donations are appreciated!

Have you (or someone you know) been touched by divorce?  A support group for divorced or separated Catholics will begin meeting the 1st & 3rd Thursdays of each month at 6:30pm at St. Denis Church Hall in Hanover (Hovey Lane entrance).  For more information call Marc at N.H. TONY MELENDEZ CONCERT

MAGDALEN COLLEGE

Magdalen College invites the public to an evening of non-stop music and entertainment for the whole family with Catholic Recording Artist Tony Melendez Saturday, Oct 17th at 7pm in the college gymnasium.  Tony Melendez was born in Nicaragua without arms.  He has been playing the guitar with his feet since his youth.  Tony has performed 5 times for Pope John Paul ll and made many television appearance including The Today Show, Good Morning America, CBS This Morning and many more.  Tickets are $10/person or $25 per family.  For more information contact Mike Rennie or Becky Vinson (877) 498-1723.
