CHRISTMAS BOUTIQUE

Please come down to the OLF Hall and do your last minute shopping on Saturday, 12/12 & Sunday 12/13 after masses.  We will have great crafts & beautiful plants and also the Doll House Raffle Winner will be drawn.

 

THE GIVING TREE

A reminder:  If you took a tag from the tree, after you wrap the present, you must put the tag on the top of the wrapping so it gets to the right family.

MOST IMPORTANTLY is that these presents must be returned by Friday, December 11th to either OLF or IC.  DO NOT bring them to mass that weekend; it’s too late then.

ANNUAL PARISH CHRISTMAS DINNER

Our annual Christmas Dinner for Immaculate Conception and Our Lady of Fatima parishioners, their families and friends will be held Monday, December 14th at the Lake Sunapee Country Club.  The festive evening begins at 6PM and features a choice of 3 entrees (Prime Rib, Chicken Breast, Baked Haddock), rolls, dessert and coffee/tea for $26/person that includes tax & gratuity.  The cash bar opens at 5:30PMSeating is limited and reservations must be made BEFORE Sunday, December 13th.

 

ADVENT RECONCILIATION SERVICE

Join your parish family at OLF to receive the sacrament of Reconciliation on Wednesday Dec 16th at 7pm. Opportunity for individual confession available.

 

WHOLE PARISH CATECHESIS

This Sunday, Dec. 6th, please join us after the 10:30 Mass for lunch, followed by an Advent talk by Father for adults and high school students.  Grades 1-8 will prepare Christmas Carols for a sing-a-long at 12:45pm.

Congratulations to the second graders who received the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time this week.

AREA CHOIR CHRISTMAS CONCERT

The annual Area Choir Christmas Concert will take place at the South Congregational Church in Newport on the weekend of Dec. 5 & 6.  The concert is Saturday evening at 7pm, Sunday afternoon at 3pm and Sunday evening at 7pm.  Members of the OLF choir participate in this concert each year.

 

FESTIIVAL OF NINE CAROLS AND LESSONS

The choirs of the churches of New London will celebrate the Christmas Season with the presentation of the Service of Nine Carols and Lessons on Sunday, Dec. 20th at 4pm at the First Baptist Church.  This traditional service is a wonderful opportunity to reflect through Scripture and music on the mystery of the Christmas event and message.

 

‘IN DULCI JUBILO’

The Pemigewasset Choral Society is having their holiday concert on Friday, Dec 11th at 7:30pm at St. Paul’s R.C. Church in Franklin. Admission by donation.
