Donate at the American Red Cross Community Blood Drive in the parish hall on Monday, September 14 from 1-6pm.  It is being sponsored by  Friends of New London Hospital.  Blood donor card or valid picture ID required to donate.

 

COMMUNITY HEALTH AND SAFETY FAIR

The Fair promotes spirit as well as health and safety and is sponsored by the NL Hospital, LSRVNA, the Outing Club, NLPD, & NLFD and First Baptist Church.  Join your neighbors on Saturday, October 24th from 9am to 1pm at the former New London Middle School.

HOLIDAY FAIR

We are collecting jewelry, scarves, evening bags and gloves for this November 14th event.  Donations may be placed in the designated basket at the entrance of the church or contact Norma Gosselin, 763 4459 or Bea Stedman, 526-6872.

 

ADULT SPIRITUAL ENRICHMENT FALL WEEKENDS

A New Hampshire Cursillo weekend will be held for the men of our parishes Sept 24-27 and Oct. 8-11, 2009 and for women on Oct 15-18 and Nov. 5-8, 2009.  Cursillo is a short course on Christianity intended for those who wish to strengthen their faith journey.  The participants live, study and worship together, and listen to talks given by lay people and clergy on Christian life based on the teachings of Christ.  For more information call:  Tony and Mary DaCosta at 743-6633 or Jim and Marianne Bruneau at 332-9442.
