HOLIDAY FAIR SILENT AUCTION DINNER

NEEDEDA good cook(s) to host and prepare dinner for six at the winning bidder’s choice of date and time (holidays excluded).  Father Bob and Joyce Dempsey will serve.  Food and preparation of the dinner will be the host’s donation for the Holiday Fair fund raiser.  This dinner has proven very popular over the past 5 years and has become a tradition as the primary feature of the Silent Auction.  Please call Judy Duffy at 526-5820 with questions.

CRAFT SESSIONS

Craft sessions has now begun for the Holiday Fair and are being held at OLF hall each Wednesday at 9:30am.  If you can’t join us, please do some knitting, crocheting, etc at home.  Let Jean LaChance (927-4345) know what wonderful creations you are making.

 

PIE MAKING

Come Saturday, Oct 3, at 9am to the parish hall to make the pies that will be on sale Oct 4th  at the Musterfield Fair.  Bring peelers and rolling pins.  Proceeds go to the Women’s Society Scholarship Fund.

 

HOLY LAND PILGRIMAGE

We are exploring the possibility of going to Israel as a parish community and visiting many of the holy places there.  If you might be interested in joining us for the journey in October 2010, please let us know now so that we can start planning.  For information or to add your name to the tentative list contact Carrie Richters at 526-7795 or carrie.richters@gmail.com.  There is no commitment, but we need to know if there is interest in order to proceed
