“MY LIFE WITH THE SAINTS”

DISCUSSION SERIES

This week’s saint:  Thomas Merton

Join us in the Parish Library on Fri, Jan 23rd at 9:45 after the Communion Service to listen, discuss and learn about Thomas Merton, a priest in the Trappist Order.  A man of contradictions.  Despite his extraordinary spiritual gifts and being quite the man of the world, his writings about the struggles with life connected with a wide array of people made him so popular and interesting.  He was the author of many best-selling books (including his memoir, The Seven Story Mountain) and yet he often considered never writing another sentence. For more information, call Hank Barry, 526-2462.

This program offers assistance to anyone in our community who needs a helping hand. 100% of your contribution goes to those in need and is tax deductible.  Brochures and envelopes are at both churches, and the rectory.  Please call our help line at 1-800-978-6395.
