Remember to mark your calendar for the Annual Spaghetti Supper at Immaculate Conception on Saturday, February 21st from 5 to 7pm.  Help will be needed the night before and the night of the supper.  Also in demand are bakers to load up the dessert bar.  Look for details next week. FREE INCOME TAX ASSISTANCE

AARP & the IRS will sponsor free income tax preparation, with e filing, for middle & low-income taxpayers and the elderly starting February 2nd. Volunteers are available at Lake Sunapee Bank in NL 526-2535 ext.6122 or in Andover 735-5923.  Please call for an appointment.

WOMEN’S SOCIETY

Join the fun and fellowship at our February meeting on Thursday, February 12th at noon.  This will be a Mardi Gras celebration complete with Gumbo, King Cake and Beads.  So don’t miss out!

VALENTINE’S DAY BAKE SALE!

Our Women’s Society sponsors a bake sale on Saturday, February 14th and Sunday, February 15th after the masses at OLF to benefit the Loaves and Fishes Fund.  Be sure to get your sweetie some sweets!

     Do not look forward to the trials and crosses of this life with dread and fear.  Rather, look to them with full confidence that, as they arise, God, to whom you belong, will deliver you from them.

     He has guided and guarded you thus far in life.  Do you but hold fast to his dear hand, and he will lead you safely through all trials.  Whenever you cannot stand, he will carry you lovingly in his arms.

     Do not look forward to what may happen tomorrow.  The same Eternal Father who cares for you today will take good care of you tomorrow and every day of your life.  Either he will shield you from suffering or he will give you the unfailing strength to bear it.

     Be at peace then, and put aside all useless thought, vain dread, and anxious imaginations.
