When he disembarked and saw the vast crowd, his heart was moved with pity for them, for they were like sheep without a shepherd; and he began to teach them many things.

CHALICE PROGRAM

The Serra Club (lay people dedicated to fostering priestly vocations) is sponsoring a Chalice Program.  A family would agree to receive a chalice in the home as the focal point of prayer for vocations to the priesthood.  A chalice is placed in the home for a week.  It serves as a reminder of our responsibility to pray for an increase of vocations.  If interested, please call Joan Broom at 763-9772.

THIS JULY, THINK CHRISTMAS!

Our parish is gearing up for it’s biggest fund-raiser, the Annual Holiday Fair and Raffle to be held Saturday, November 14th.  Over $2,500 in prizes will be given away.  All registered parishioners should receive five tickets in the mail and we ask that you return them at your earliest convenience.  If you do not receive your tickets, please call the office.  As always, thank you for your generous, on-going support!

We welcomed Mael Robert Jacques into our church family on July 12, 2009.  Pray for Mael and his family.

Well, next Saturday, July 25th, is the Attic Treasures Sale.  We are still looking for articles in good condition.  In addition to this, we need help Monday the 20th till Saturday, the 25th from 9:00am to as long as you can stay.  We will be setting out the treasures and pricing them.  All help is greatly appreciated.  Come join the fun.  Any questions, call Julie Canuto @ 763-5835.

ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

Bishop McCormack invites all couples celebrating their 25th, 30th, 35th, 40th, 45th, 50th or beyond Wedding Anniversary, anytime during 2009 to a special Anniversary Mass on October 11th at 2pm in St Anselm Abby Church, Manchester.  Please call or mail to the rectory by August 14th the name and address of the anniversary couple indicating their special anniversary, as well.

LIVE YOUR FAITH

We all seek deeper meaning in our lives, but probably more so during these troubling times.  This summer visit www.catholicnh.org. for a new series called “Live Your Faith.”  Each week a new theme is presented along with suggestions and resources selected to enrich your spiritual life.  Practical day-to-day topics explore ways we can come to a deeper relationship with the Lord and with others.  Read about forgiveness, prayer, participating in your community, managing your household, and much more.  Please join us for this summer journey of faith and hope.
